I got my bachelors degree from Indiana University in Fashion Design and I always wanted to get my cosmetology license to go alongside it. Once I started cosmetology school I realized how much I enjoyed doing hair! My dream job would be to do hair, makeup and clothes styling for television/movies.
My absolute favorite thing about doing hair is getting to talk to people I’d never normally get to interact with; I love asking people about their lives and careers that are completely different from mine. It’s so interesting! Especially now that I live in a new part of the US, I’m excited to learn even more about the people who live or are traveling through Flagstaff. I also love making people feel confident and challenging my skills on a daily basis. I’m more of an introvert and doing hair has helped me come out of my shell in the best way.
